My nephew/granchild/son is a whizz with computers, and he said he'll build me a site. Why should I pay you to do it?
We've had a lot of work come off the back of someones son/nephew/cousin who was going to build them a website, and never did. With all due respect to them, they are probably extremely computer literate, as most young people are these days, but web design is a specialist area of computing.
I can change a radiator, but I wouldn't hire me to put in a central heating system.
Actually producing a web page, isn't really that difficult, but there are a whole host of factors to take into consideration for getting it onto the web, getting it noticed and making sure it runs smoothly and will be easy to maintain. Also, when it comes down to it, the son/nephew either doesn't have time, or realises that they've bitten off more than they can chew, and never actually does it.

When will you let me know when my site is finished?
We don't just want to build a site and then hand it over and walk away. We want your input into the design process. We want to know what message you want to get across to your customers, what you want to start with, how you want it to look, and keep checking with you that we're heading in the right direction.
We also want you to take an active role in producing the content for you site. We can make your site look as attractive as possible, but without content that stimulates your customers or readers then they won't come back for a second time.
We can help you to produce good marketing content for you site by sitting down with you and discussing what your business does, and choosing the best words to present you to your customers on your site.
Can my site be in Spanish and English?
The simple answer to this is yes, that is no problem at all.
If you are fluent at writing spanish, or indeed any other language, then we can put in a facility for people to switch languages on your website. Be careful about just having a go at translating into spanish yourselves, as nothing is more of a turn off for a Spaniard than reading a page of badly written spanish. It won't give them much confidence in your companies abilities.
We are not fluent at writing spanish ourselves however, so if you want your site translated into spanish, we have a very reliable translation service which we outsource work to, which will obviously have to get factored into the price.
You also need to consider that if your website is in Spanish and English, then if someone contacts you in spanish you need to be able to deal with their enquiry in that language.
I don't want a whole new site, I just need extra bits adding to it. Can you do that?
Certainly. You may already have a website that has been serving you well that just needs either a face lift to bring it up to date, or needs something new adding to it like an enquiry form, a stock list, a directory, or new content. We're quite happy to do that for you. No job is too big or too small.
We'll have a chat about what you want, have a look at your site to see how it is currently put together, and look at the best way to integrate any new parts into it. Just give us a ring or email us for a chat.
How do I change my site once it's up and running?
You have a choice here. Either we can change your content for you, for which we charge 25 euro per hour for existing clients, and 30 for new clients, or you can do it yourself with the logins and password that we will provide, and you can get hold of some software to connect to your web server and make changes on your own. If you have a web site with a lot of changeable content, like an online shop, an estate agency etc, then we can build in a content management system that you can change content yourself from a web browser, upload photos etc.
To put it in perspective, if you have a site which doesn't change a huge amount, and is effectively an online brochure for your business, then you probably won't be making that many changes to it over the course of a year. We will have built the site in a way which will make it easy to change content, so new additions and alterations to text will probably only take us about 20 minutes, and cost you about 10 euro. Thats not much of a cost to make sure that the job is done properly.
How can my customers contact me via my website?
Obviously you'll want your email address and phone number on your website prominently displayed, so your customers can get hold of you. All our hosting accounts come with unlimited email addresses, so you can direct incoming mail to the correct person. If you have another email account, such as a yahoo account, then we can get mail forwarded on to that.
We can also help you set up outlook express to take mail from your business account, if you need help with that, or you can check your mail online with a webmail service.
If you have a bricks and mortar office or shop address, then you'll want that displayed, possibly with some directions on there as well, but there are also other ways for your customers to get in contact with you.
If you have an internet telephone account, like Skype, then you can have a button on your site to tell your customers when you are at your computer, and online for them to call you for free from anywhere in the world.
Spain is a big place, and often it's invaluable for your customers to know that it's worth coming to visit your shop or office, before setting out on a long journey.
I do't really know what I want. Can I have a chat to you about it?
