This comapny says they can get me in the top ten in google in a week. Can you do that?
There are companies out there that will claim to be able to get you onto the front of google in a week or a month or whatever. We're not one of them.
The reason for this is that the methods that they use to achieve this, generally produce only short term results, and in fact can actually damage your search engine rankings in future.
The search engines are smart, and getting smarter. In the past, you could trick them by having lots of links from lots of other non relevant sites, and suddenly boosting the ranking of your site, or filling up with tons of keywords.
The search engines can now recognise stuff like this as an attempt to cheat them, and will either ignore it at best, or at worst, penalise your ranking for trying to fool them.
You can only get a website noticed by growing it organically, step by step and keeping your sights focused on making it relevant to your target audience.
There are no quick fix solutions. Just as you cannot turn your small business into a corporation overnight, you cannot make your site instantly popular.
